E. Stephen Freeman, CFP®/CLU®
Mr. Freeman is a Co-Founder of BFT Financial Group. He also is a Certified Financial Planner and a Chartered Life Underwriter as well as a registered principal. He earned his B.S. Oakland University, Rochester, Michigan and his MBA at Michigan State University, Lansing Michigan. Steve has 32 years of industry experience specializing in financial planning and insurance design and implementation.
Stephen D. Tally, CEO, CCO
Mr. Tally is a second generation Co-Founder. Prior to joining BFT, Stephen served as president and director of asset management for Professional Partners Corporation, a Registered Investment Advisor firm. Stephen earned a BBA from the University of North Texas. He is a registered principal and serves as both Chief Executive Officer and Chief Compliance Officer for BFT. For 17 years, Stephen has contributed to product research and due diligence of the custodial platforms and investment products utilized through BFT.
William D. Schultz, Financial Advisor
Mr. Schultz earned his B.B.A. from Baylor University. He is a registered principal and Managing Member of BFT. His duties include Director of Third Party Investment Advisor services and participating member of the investment committee. Mr. Schultz has over 24 years of experience working with and managing client assets.
Travis Crowell, Financial Advisor
Travis graduated from Abilene Christian University with B.B.A. in Financial Management in 2007. He has 11 years experience as a registered representative along with 2 years internship prior to beginning his professional career. Travis specializes in working with individuals to develop financial plans and asset management.
Ray L. Pinson, CPA, CFP®
Mr. Pinson earned his BBA degree from Abilene Christian University in 1979 and became a CPA in 1980. He has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Mr. Pinson’s background includes experience in public accounting as well as private industry. He spent 21 years working for the Bass family in Fort Worth, Texas and prior to joining BFT as a financial advisor he served as CFO for Oak Hill Capital Partners, a private equity fund manager with $7.9 billion in fund commitments.
